On September 23, 2023, Bing Zhou, one of Gear Lab members, has passed his prelim exam. His reserach is about defining Responsible GIScience that refers to conducting GIScience research or deploying geospatial technologies which strictly adhere to a set of protocols that address ethical principles, account for human values, and safeguard societal interests.
